A woman sticks her boyfriend with the bill for his vacation by refusing to pay for a ski trip she didn't attend. He sends her an itemized bill for $680 covering a cabin spot that was filled by someone else, leaving her fuming and questioning everything. This month may have started with a sprained ankle and a canceled vacation, but it looks like it will be ending with a breakup and some financial obligation education for a man who doesn't understand how group trips work. 

Skiing and snowboarding are expensive hobbies. Cabins cost an arm and a leg, lift tickets require a second mortgage, and gear will leave a hole in your wallet so big, it'll have NASA experts wondering if there's a new black hole in the galaxy. Although it's understandable to come to collect the funds after planning a ski trip with your friends, it's outlandish to even consider approaching a person who was never involved in the first place. Just because you planned a trip with your girlfriend in mind doesn't mean she's beholden to the bill after you've invited a new person to fill her place; that's just not how it works. 

However, to this guy, apparently, he'd always planned to keep his girlfriend on the financial hook for his snow weekend, even if she was never there to enjoy it.
